The hiring process at Enterprise starts with an application. If you know someone and they refer you jump on it. An employee referal weighs heavier than a random application.
1. You must have a college degree. Yes a college degree to rent cars and deal with a hostile public. The main reason behind this is that you are trained like an owner so you are essentially learning to run your own business. A college degree is beneficial when running a business. It also shows that you were committed to something for a minimum of four years.
2. You must be a hard worker.. ERAC as some employees call it is a long work hour envioronment. They do profess work hard and play hard so prepare for lots of fun and after work happy hours and dinners.
3. You will first meet with a recruiter. He or she has a bonus tied in to hiring so don't be afraid of them. They will be nice to you and guide you in the right direction
4. The next step is meeting the area manager or supervisor of a few offices. He or she will interview you and dig in to whether you will be a good fit.
5. The last step is meeting with a regional manager. They will have a great deal of say in if you get hired but ultimately it is up to the area manager.
Remember to dress well, shined shoes and a nice clean white shirt. Do not wear any other color. Enterprise Rent A Car is very conservative. Make sure you are well shaved and groomed if you are a male. Women wear closed toes shoes and a business suit. The interview will all be behavioral interviewing questions.
